HSP awards Education Grants to LKC Medicine’s inaugural batch

Houghton Street Partners has awarded four students from the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s inaugural batch with education grants, as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to provide educational support to outstanding students. The recipients of the grants were Lee Hai Quan, Wong Sat Wei Joseph, Chong Kai Jun Daniel, and Tan Xuan Hao. The award ceremony took place in the new LKC Medicine campus on 12 February 2014, and among the attendees were Senior Vice Dean Professor Jenny Higham and Vice Dean of Education Associate Professor Naomi Low-Beer.
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine was established in 2013 with an inaugural batch of 54 students. Through a partnership between the Nanyang Technological University and Imperial College London, the school was established with the goal to set a new model for innovative medical education, and to produce future medical leaders that will enhance Singapore’s healthcare.Congratulations to the recipients of this year’s LKC Medicine Education Grant, and best of luck on your educational journey.
