Houghton Street Partners awarded its first scholarship to Joyce Ting, who will be undertaking a Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) at Melbourne University. Joyce is expected to graduate in 2012.

 

Joyce was chosen among numerous candidates for the scholarship because of her academic excellence and passion for philanthropy, two characteristics Joyce believes are of great importance. “Although career development is highly emphasized, the Houghton Street Partners family demands holistic success. This means that future Houghton Street Partners scholars and interns will understand that to be truly successful, both career accomplishments and development as a human being is of paramount importance”.
