Houghton Street Partners was the knowledge partner of Asia Private Equity Institute’s PE/VC Symposium 2013 which took place at Singapore Management University on 24 September, 2013. The theme of the symposium was The Evolution of Private Equity in Asia, and described the challenges and opportunities of investments in developing Asian countries. Guest speakers included Alan Thompson (Temasek Holdings), Ming Lu (KKR), Ludovic Phalippou (University of Oxford), Lily Fang (INSEAD), Meng Ann Lim (Actis) and Mathieu Perfetti (Credit Agricole).

 

The Asia Private Equity Institute is the first Asia-Focused academic research centre for Private Equity and Venture Capital. APEI conducts high quality academic and applied research on Private Equity and Venture Capital and educates practitioners through thought leadership and new methodologies. APEI also publishes newsletters and academic findings, and hosts investment roundtable discussions and conferences with industry leaders.
