We believe that a scholarship by itself, without the necessary career guidance, is not adequate to help scholars meet their longer-term objectives. As such, Point Hope works closely with a small but highly motivated pool of scholars to provide in-depth career development support as well as an internship programme throughout the course of their university studies. After providing the initial education and internship training, Houghton Street Partners also helps place our scholars into leading companies through our extensive business and personal network.

Houghton Street Partners’ highly focused programme can only help the top tier of specially selected candidates who are likely to succeed, and in turn contribute to philanthropy and Houghton Street Partners. These are usually outstanding students from world-class universities. At the moment, Houghton Street Partners has a limited programme aimed at UK’s top 6 universities including: University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, and University College London; as well as Australia’s top 2 colleges, University of Sydney and University of Melbourne.
