New potential investment opportunities orginated through the top-down and bottom-up sourcing process are put through the SPOT methodology to evaluate each opportunity on the basis of industry, company and deal-specific criteria. For screened investment opportunities deemed to be of high priority, preliminary analysis is conducted including an initial returns analysis to assess the suitability and viability of the investment, and findings are documented in a Preliminary Investment Memorandum (PIM).
