The exit company analysis is a tool for Houghton Street to determine what are the available value add opportunities that the firm can perform to achieve its 3.0x MoIC target for each investee company. The firm will use its Functional Improvement Team (F.I.T.) framework to analyse the functions of each investee company that can be improved immediately.  

 

The Analysis will also determine what is the most appropriate exit strategy based on an analysis of the IPO market as well as the competitive landscape. Upon entry, Houghton Street Partners will identify all potential strategic buyers as well as other private equity firms that the investee company can be sold to.
